Minister of National Security of Turkmenistan to resign

The President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov onTuesday meeting of the State Security Council  dismissed National Security Minister, Major-General Charymurata Amanov, RIA Novosti reported with reference to Turkmen television.

Amanov served as minister of national security since October 2007. Prior to this appointment, he worked as head of the Security Service of President Berdimuhamedov.
