Symbol falls: Trump and Macron's ‘oak of friendship’ dies

According to Le Monde newspaper, recently,  a tree, which symbolized the friendly relations between the US and France - the ‘oak of friendship’ - planted by the presidents of both countries Donald Trump and Emmanuel Macron last April, died in the garden of the US White House.

“A small oak tree died, and the grass overrun the lawn of the White House, where Donald Trump and Emmanuel Macron planted the tree,” Le Monde writes.
