Shiraz International Airport starts self-financing
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe International Airport of Shiraz “Shahid Dastghaib” has become an independent self-sufficient airport, Iran News reports.
Only the International Airports of Imam Khomeini, Mehrabad and Mashhad in Tehran were self-sufficient until recently. They do not need state financing.
Iran has a total of 54 airports.
Hamid Reza Seyed, head of the main administration of airports at Fars Province, said that Shiraz International Airport will cover all its expenses using its own finances.
