Militant killed and bomb defused in Makhachkala

A militant has been killed in a special operation in Makhachkala, ITAR-TASS cites a spokesman of the National Counter-Terrorism Committee Nikolai Sintsov as saying.

The official said that the counter-terrorism operation started on Angels Str. at 18.45 (Moscow time). A militant was killed in a hostel.

The FSb office in Dagestan also reported that a vehicle containing a bomb was defused at the Irchi-Kazak Str. near an 8-floor building.
