Kuwaiti authorities expelled three Iranian diplomats and recalled the ambassador to Iran for consultations, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the daily newspaper "Al-Qabas" and the head of the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Sabah.

According to the minister, three Iranian diplomats were asked to leave the country because of an alleged attempt to establish an espionage network. He also accused the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of establishing an espionage network in Kuwait, said the publication.

Iran's IRNA news agency published today the rebuttal of the accusations of "creating an Iranian spy network in Kuwait”.
