NATO and Russia did not make significant progress on saving the Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF) in talks at the alliance headquarters, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said.

"We have not seen any signs of a breakthrough," Stoltenberg said after a meeting of the NATO-Russia Council, adding that the chances of a resolution were "going down, day by day."

"We must prepare for a world without INF, which will be less stable," Euronews cited the NATO chief as saying.
