Angela Merkel’s income revealed

According to the published data on the monthly incomes of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the politician receives € 19,796.68 per month (almost 1.5 million rubles), the press service of the Bundestag reports.

Out of € 19,796, 68, Merkel’s official salary is € 17,701.40 (1 million 253 thousand 126 rubles).

The total amount consists of the official salary and allowances. Also, the German Chancellor receives 50% of hospitality, as she is a member of the Bundestag, and  25% as a member of the parliament, Gazeta.ru reports.
