David Kenwright: EYOF in Baku is being held in great energetic atmosphere

The Youth Olympic Festival in Baku is being held in a great, energetic atmosphere, David Kenwright, coach of the UK national gymnastics team, said in an interview with Vestnik Kavkaza.

"There's really great and energetic atmosphere, we were happy to perform at this arena. Organization is wonderful. Our team received a lot of support, so we're very happy to be here," Kenwright said, noting that there are very good conditions for athletes in Baku.

The XV Summer European Youth Olympic Festival is being held in Baku on July 21-27. The festival will be attended by more than 3,900 athletes from 48 European countries. Athletes will compete in ten kinds of sports - gymnastics, athletics, basketball, cycling, handball, judo, swimming, tennis, volleyball and wrestling. In total, athletes will compete for 135 sets of medals.
