China threatens to respond to U.S. tariff hike
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaChina is ready to respond to the U.S. tariff increase announced by President Donald Trump, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hua Chunying said today at a regular briefing.
"If the U.S. is going to implement the additional tariffs, China will have to take necessary countermeasures," TASS cited her as saying.
Yesterday, the U.S. leader said he will impose an additional 10% tariff on $300 billion worth of Chinese imports starting September 1.
