Irreconcilable militants in the North Caucasus should be arrested or killed, with the rest we must come to terms, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said at a meeting with the head of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, RIA Novosti reports.

Medvedev encouraged Yevkurov in his efforts to actively interact with various parts of the Ingush population.

For his part, the head of the republic said that, of the 50 former militants and their accomplices who surrendered to the law-enforcement authorities in 2010, only 8 were charged with crimes, while others returned to a peaceful life.
