Ingush President calls for strengthening of control over human rights

Ingush President Unus-Bek Evkurov has hosted a meeting with an authorized observer for human rights in Ingushetia, Djabrail Ozdoev, where issues of human rights were discussed, reports yuga.ru

One of the main issues was the observance of human rights in prisons. Evkurov pointed out that it is important to intensify work in the sphere of law awareness and ordered Ozdoev to carry out an investigation and make proposals.

He also asked Ozdoev to examine complaints of rights violations by the relatives of some imprisoned people.
