Mayor of Stavropol elected

MPs of the Duma of Stavropol elected today a new mayor, the City Duma Speaker George Kalyagin, RIA Novosti reports.
The former mayor of Stavropol, Nicholai Paltsev, resigned voluntarily on March 25.
George Kalyagin previously served as chairman of the Tariff Commission of the Stavropol Territory.
