Tokayev appoints Saparbayev Deputy PM of Kazakhstan

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev appointed Berdibek Saparbayev Deputy Prime Minister of the republic, according to Akorda press service.

Saparbayev replaced Gulshara Abdykalykova in this position, AKIpress reported.

Prior to this appointment, Saparbayev (born on February 9, 1953)  served as Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the population. He worked as Minister of Labor since February 25, 2019. Before that, Saparbayev has been governor of Aktobe region for about three years.
