Former Iranian President Khatami not allowed to travel abroad

Former Iranian President Mohammad Khatami is not permitted to travel abroad, reports Trend referring to the news agency Fars.

According to the agency information, a representative of the Security Ministry announced on Monday during a religious meeting that Khatami had intended to go abroad some time ago but was prohibited from leaving the country.
