An unknown person attempted to take the life of the deputy minister of agriculture of Dagestan, RIA Novosti reports.

About 09:00 a.m. an unknown person attacked the deputy minister of agriculture of the republic, Bilal Omarov. The official was taken hospital with serious injures.

According to preliminary data, a man came up to the deputy minister from behind and shot at him. A criminal case is initiated.
