Russian Interior Minister sums up results of police reform

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia reconsidered staff policy and developed new legal base during the year of reforms, the head of the ministry, Rashid Nurgaliyev stated, RIA Novosti reports.

In late 2009 the president of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, signed an order on reformation of the internal affairs bodies.

Nurgaliyev said that the ministry developed law and regulatory framework. Serious innovation is changing of appraisal of the results. Also the staff policy was reconsidered.
