Russia considers Middle East instability as threat to its interests

Russia is worried about instability in the oil-producing countries of the Middle East, the vice-primer Sergey Ivanov stated, RIA Novosti reports.

“We wish the situation were stable, as it can damage our interests, including the oil industry. I believe that such conflicts are unfavourable for Russia. It is more profitable for us if prices were stable,“ Ivanob stated in Washington.
