Black Sea tornado warning system necessary - Shoigu

The head of the emergency ministry of Russia, Sergei Shoigu, has urged the development of a tornado forecasting system on the Black Sea, Yuga.ru reports.

The meeting of the regional heads and ministers was conducted by Premier Vladimir Putin. He said that according to statistics , the number of negative natural phenomena in Russia grows by 6-8% per year.

“It is a serious risk for people lives and incurs huge economic losses. We need an effective emergency system,” Putin stated.
