Georgia to join NATO in a few years

Technically, Georgia will be ready to join NATO in 2-3 years, the Georgian minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration said, Georgia Online reports.

Baramidze said that they are successfully using the NATO-Georgia mechanism. Tbilisi will host a meeting of NATO ambassadors in the autumn.

The official said that Russia does not see NATO as a threat, so its expansion should not bother Moscow, Baramidze said.
