Odes Baysultanov becomes Chechen PM
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe Chechen parliament has voted unanimously for Odes Baysultanov as the new prime minister of the republic, Grozny-Inform reports.
The unscheduled session of the parliament was chaired by Speaker Dukhuvakhi Abdurakhmanov. Russian parliament members Adam Delimkhanov, deputy chairman of parliament Salman Sakriyev, acting deputy chairman of parliament Magomed Daudov and heads of the city and district administrations were at the session.
Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov expressed trust in Baysultanov. The new PM will be ordered to form a new government.
Parliament chairman Abdurakhmanov reminded those assembled about Baysultanov’s success in restoring the cities and districts of the republic, construction of social and industrial facilities and the organization of republican, all-Russian and other international events.
Baysultanov thanked the Chechen leader and the parliament for their trust and expressed confidence that the executive structure will continue improving the prosperity and development of the republic.
Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov was inaugurated on April 5. The parliament was dismissed, according to the Constitution.
