CTO regime introduced in Chegem

In Kabardino-Balkaria, this morning, the regime of counter-terrorism operation (CTO) was introduced. It operates from 05:00 on the territory of Chegem, the FSB reports.

The FSB operational headquarters notes that the CTO regime was introduced due to a possible presence of a religious extremist group members in a private house.

Yesterday, during the operational-search activities, law enforcement officers received information about the members of a religious extremist group and their accomplices ‘carrying out plans for committing terrorist crimes’, the headquarters reports.
