Baku gymnastics arena is beautiful, Neringa Masionite says
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThere is a wonderful arena in Baku, Lithuanian gymnast Neringa Masionite said in an interview with a Vestnik Kavkaza correspondent after performing in qualifying exercises with clubs at the 37th World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Baku.
"I am impressed with the tournament. I am in Baku for the first time, I did not know that there is such a beautiful, spacious arena here. There are a lot of space for training and performances. Everything is fine here,” she said.
"There is also a wonderful organization. Everyone helps, if you need something. We live in a great hotel, we are fed well. In general, everything is good,” Neringa Masionite added.
“Gur-Gur the Masoot, the talisman of the tournament, is very cheerful and helps to relax a bit,” the Lithuanian gymnast said.
This week, on September 16-22, the 37th World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships is held at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku. The tournament is the qualification competition for the 32nd Olympic Games in Tokyo. More than 300 gymnasts from 61 countries are competing for nine sets of medals. The motto of the tournament is “Fairy tales will come to life”
