Chechen team ranks 1st at Festival of Culture and Sports of Caucasus Peoples

For the third time, the Chechen team ranked 1st in the team standings of the annual Festival of Culture and Sports of the Caucasus Peoples, held this weekend in Grozny.

Dagestan became the 2nd, Ingushetia - the 3rd. The award ceremony took place at the Sultan Bilimkhanov Stadium, TASS reports.

“Over the past ten years, the festival has become a significant event not only in the life of the entire North Caucasus, but also in the Russian Federation,” the head of the Russian Minkavkaz, Sergei Chebotarev said.
