Turkish airstrike kills 3 PKK terrorists in N.Iraq

Turkish fighter jets neutralized three PKK terrorists in northern Iraq, the National Defense Ministry said, Yeni Safak reports.

The terrorists were neutralized in Qandil region in a coordinated operation of the Turkish Armed Forces and the National Intelligence Organization (MIT), the ministry tweeted.

Turkish authorities often use the term "neutralized" in statements to imply the terrorists in question surrendered or were killed or captured.
