Turkish buses to serve passengers in Tbilisi
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaSixty new Isuzu buses, purchased by Tbilisi Transport Company, have been presented by Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze.
The Euro 6 standard, diesel buses have been produced by Turkish Anadolu Group, Agenda.ge reported.
The total cost of the project [of all 220 buses] is about $22 million. Remaining 160 buses will enter the capital city before the end of the year to replace outdated public transport.
Each bus has 21 seats for 53 passengers and is adapted for people with disabilities. Buses are equipped with wireless Internet and modern heating and conditioning systems, as well as cameras. Passengers will be able to charge their phones while travelling.
