Trainer aircraft crashes in Antalya

A civil trainer aircraft crashed today in the Manavgat district of Turkey's Antalya.

No one was killed or injured in the accident, according to initial information provided by the provincial governor. Firefighters and medical teams were dispatched to the scene of the crash.

Antalya Governor Münir Karaloğlu said  that the plane crashed shortly after takeoff. The plane hit a patch of cactuses while taking off, Anadolu Agency reported.

The pilot and co-pilot were taken to the hospital for health checks. An investigation has been initiated into the accident
