Caspian Sea hit by 3.8-magnitude earthquake
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaA magnitude 3.8 earthquake has struck the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea today, according to the Republican Seismic Survey Center of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 53 kilometers at 00:57 Baku time. The epicenter of the quake was located 152 km east of Gala.
Another quake in the Caspian Sea was registered yesterday at 10:58 am - with a magnitude of 4.3 at a depth of 62 kilometers.
