The Georgian authorities have made changes to the state program ‘Plant the Future’ that will greatly facilitate the work of farmers involved in the cultivation of berry crops, the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture reports.

The changes will allow beneficiaries of the state program to buy imported seedlings from local companies.

At the same time, seedlings will be imported through an intermediary company that will collect orders and import a minimum number of seedlings from foreign companies.

Thus, farmers will no longer have to buy seedlings through direct import.
