Monument to Imadeddin Nasimi opened in Moscow

Rudomino in Moscow today. the opening ceremony was attended by Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva. The monument was opened with organizational support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
Speaking to the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza, Leyla Aliyeva told about what she loves the most about Imadeddin Nasimi's works. "This is his faith in person, faith in God and infinity, as well as his values: love, respect for each other and the understanding that we are all part of one whole," the Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation said.
The ceremony was opened by the library's Director General Mikhail Shepel.
After him the floor was taken by Russia's Deputy Minister of Culture Pavel Stepanov.
Leyla Aliyeva also welcomed those who came to the opening ceremony.
The ceremony was completed by Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia Polad Bulbul oglu.
The statue has been made by the academician of the Russian Art Academy, sculptor Aydin Zeynalov.
