Rovshan Rzayev: more than 7,000 IDP families to be provided with apartments in Azerbaijan
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThere are still IDPs in Azerbaijan who live in difficult conditions, chairman of Azerbaijan’s State Committee for Refugees and IDPs Rovshan Rzayev said at a round table meeting in Baku held in connection with the provision of assistance to IDPs in Azerbaijan by the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.
As Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said, over 7,000 IDP families will be provided with apartments by the end of next year, Rzayev noted.
According to him, part of the funds allocated by the president was already transferred to the Committee. "The remaining funds will be provided next year. Thus all the tasks will be fulfilled by the Committee," the chairman of Azerbaijan’s State Committee for Refugees and IDPs added.
