Azerbaijan disagrees with EU report

Azerbaijan disagrees with the conclusions made in the EU report on fundamental freedom in Azerbaijan. The EU representative in Azerbaijan Rolan Kobia was summoned to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Trend reports.

Azerbaijan considered the declaration made by the OSCE Council on April 7 partial and based on information that does not reflect reality.

The declaration does not meet with the real state of relations between Azerbaijan and the EU.

The report was published on April 8.

The EU expressed concern with the fundamental freedom in Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan informed the the EU that the government is devoted to democratic principles of development and fulfills all its international obligations and continues cooperation.
