Cooperation with Ukraine is Russian priority

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said that cooperation with Ukraine is a priority for the Russian authorities, RIA Novosti reports.

The prime minister praised bilateral Ukrainian-Russian relations, particularly in the economic sphere, which are supported in Ukraine at a high level.

According to Putin, the growth of mutual investments indicates the cooperation between Russia and Ukraine. "Last year, Russia's investment (in Ukraine) rose to 1.1 billion dollars," Putin said. According to him, Ukrainian investment in Russia amounted to 200 million dollars, which is still growing "at a slower pace."
