Limassol police detain 17 Georgians

Police in Cyprus have detained 17 Georgian citizens in Limassol for illegally staying in the country.

The Greek media has reported that the detained individuals were employed in a construction company using fake documents in Limassol.

A court has sentenced the Georgian citizens to eight days in jail. After that, the illegal immigrants will be deported in Georgia, Agenda.ge reported.
