Pompeo threatens Iran with new sanctions

The United States will impose new sanctions against Iran because of the authorities’ reaction to protests, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in an interview with Iran International, the State Department press service reports.

”We already introduced sanctions against the Iranian Minister of Communications, and we will also introduce new sanctions. We will deny visas and other things to all those who behave as Iranian leaders. We will introduce a set of sanctions that will complicate the regime’s current policy and increase its price,” Pompeo said, TASS reports.
