Mamsurov urges North Ossetians to clear away snow

The head of North Ossetia, Taimuraz Mamsurov, urged residents of the republic to help staff of breakdown services and clean up territories, Yuga.ru reports.

For two days heavy snow has fallen in the republic. A number of emergency situations occurred, electricity and water supply are cut.

A massive TV tower lurches in Vladikavkaz. Today broadcasts of local TV programmes is stopped.

According to weather forecasts, the weather is set to become better by the end of Wednesday.
