BP says Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline benefits Turkey

The Director General of the BP office in Turkey, Murat Lekompt, believes that Turkey will have no losses in realizing the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline, Haber X reports.


Turkey makes a profit from taxes, transit expenses and other sources. BOTAS may have expenses, but the country as a whole would not, he said.


Lekompt added that BP has been in a court process with BOTAS for over 2 years. Conclusion of the case will benefit all sides.
