Russian president appoints police chief for Sochi

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has appointed Colonel Vasily Umnov as the police chief of Sochi, Yuga.ru reports.

The president signed a decree on special promotions for police authorities today, press-service of the Kremlin said.
