Kazakh delegation studies Georgian reforms

A delegation from Kazakhstan has visited the Georgian Justice Ministry. The delegation includes officials from the presidential administration, the Justice Ministry and the prosecution service, Georgia Online reports.


The guests studied the reform system of Georgia. The Kazakh delegates expressed interest in the measures against corruption, crime and the thief mentality. They also studied projects for prevention of crime among the underaged and introduction of an alternative punishment system.


The reform includes measures improving services, simplification of registration of apartments and property and implementation of online services.


The Kazakh delegation visited the new building of the Georgian Justice Ministry. The delegation arrived on April 7. It had meetings with the Ministry of Corrections and Legal Assistance. Several prisons were also visited.
