Dmitry Novikov: US seeks new ways of sanctions policy by imposing sanctions against Nord Stream 2

According to Dmitry Novikov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Foreign Affairs, the US intention to impose sanctions on the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline is an attempt to find new ways to put pressure on Russia.

“They cynically push their interests, on the one hand, but it’s also an attempt to find new ways in sanctions policy,” RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.
