Armenia's parliament adopts amendments to military laws

The Armenian parliament adopted today amendments to two laws: "On the approval of the statute of Garrison and Patrol Services of the Armed Forces of Armenia" and "On Approval of the Internal Service of the Armed Forces of Armenia",  News Armenia reports.

Introducing amendments to the law "On Approval of the Internal Service of the Armed Forces of Armenia", Deputy Defense Minister Ara Nazarian said that the amendments concretize a number of terms that are used in daily military life. It also provides a separate article, which addresses issues of security of the military service.

Amendments to the law “On the Approval of the Statute of Garrison and Patrol Services of the Armed Forces of Armenia" is aimed at modernizing its terminology, which has remained intact since its adoption in 1997.
