Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has ordered the enhancement of Georgian language teaching in areas densely populated by national minorities, Trend reports.

He noted that with a poor knowledge of the Georgian language, the non-Georgian population cannot fully integrate into Georgian society, particularly in terms of moving up the career ladder.

Saakashvili talked about introducing the Georgian language as the instruction language for 30 percent of subjects in Azerbaijani and Armenian schools.
