Veronika Krasheninnikova: there's a minimum of ideology in Mishustin's Cabinet
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe Director General of the Institute for Foreign Policy Studies and Initiatives, an advisor to the Director General of the MIA 'Russia Today', member of the Civic Chamber Veronika Krasheninnikova, speaking with Vestnik Kavkaza, shared her expectations from Mikhail Mishustin's Cabinet.
"First, the government composition updates have been long expected, so these changes are welcomed across almost the entire political and economic spectrum. The appearance of new faces is also encouraging. The expectations are quite high, as citizens want to see the results that were promised by national projects," Veronika Krasheninnikova noted in the first place.
"The new faces in the Cabinet, and especially the Prime Minister, are technological, competent leaders who have shown good results in previous positions. We can say that they have a minimum ideology and maximum efficiency. I’m very pleased with Andrei Belousov’s appointment as First Deputy Prime Minister. It is known that he promoted the most optimal economic decisions, but his proposals did not always win within the framework of the internal struggle," she noted.
"We expect Mikhail Mishustin's Cabinet to fulfill the social justice tasks announced by the president in his Address to the Federal Assembly," the Director General of the Institute for Foreign Policy Studies and Initiatives added.
"Indeed, it is difficult to imagine anyone other than Sergey Shoigu and Sergey Lavrov being Defense Minister and Foreign Minister. There have always been good impressions about Energy Minister Alexander Novak. As for Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, it seems that the president is satisfied with his work." Veronika Krasheninnikova concluded.
