Drug dealer detained in Georgia's Poti

Georgian police officers have detained one individual for drug offences in the Georgian town of Poti, the Georgian Interior Ministry reported.

Law enforcers have seized 26 packs of methadone and five packs of cocaine as a result of a personal search of the detainee.

The detainee is accused of the purchase and possession of a large amount of drugs, Agenda.ge reported.

The crime is punishable by eight to 20 years in prison or life imprisonment.
