Putin reports to the State Duma on Government work in 2010

The premier of Russia, Vladimir Putin, began his speech in the State Duma on the work of the Government in 2010. He will speak about plans, initiatives of the government in economy, social sphere and the system of the state management for 2011.

After the report representatives of all four fractions could ask three questions and state their position on the governmental work.

Yesterday the Duma Council met. The speaker of the State Duma Boris Gryzlov stated it is planned that with questions the report will take three hours.

This is the third time Putin has reported on government work to the parliament. Earlier the head of the government said that people are interested in future life, social strategy chosen by the government. He also wanted to stress the problem of school modernization in the report.
