Turkey's Malatya hit by 5.0-magnitude earthquake

An earthquake of 5.0 magnitude has rocked eastern Turkey on Wednesday, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center reported.

The earthquake's epicenter lay in 40 km to the east of the city of Malatya at the depth of 10 km, TASS reported.

No injuries or damages were reported.

Malatya is the capital of Malatya province, which was struck by a 6.8 earthquake on January 24. The deadly quake killed 41 and left 1,607 injured.
