Brent and WTI oil prices down by 5%

The price of futures for Brent crude oil with settlement in May 2020 fell by 5.1%, to $34.21 per barrel, according to trading data on the ICE Exchange in London at 04:48 am Moscow time.

At the same time, the cost of WTI crude oil reached $31.23 per barrel (-5.31%), RIA Novosti reported.

Saudi Aramco has been directed by the Ministry of Energy to raise its oil production capacity to 13 million barrels per day (bpd) from 12 million bpd now, the company's Chief Executive Amin Nasser said yesterday.
