Russian Fleet to take part in training together with NATO

Ships of the navy of the Russian Federation will participate in several major international naval training sessions together with NATO countries in the next few months, RIA Novosti reports, with reference to an official representative of the press service of the administration and information of the Defense Ministry of the Navy.

From May 25 to June 14 a squad of the Black Sea Fleet will participate in large international training exercises of the rescue forces off the Atlantic coast of Spain. From June 20 to July 6, a detachment of the Northern Fleet will take part in the quadripartite military trainings FRUKUS-2011 in the North Atlantic, as well as visit the naval base at Norfolk in the US.
