Second coronavirus patient dies in Kazakhstan

Second coronavirus patient died in Kazakhstan, Nur-Sultan public health department chief Saule Kisikova said.

"Unfortunately, a lethal case from coronavirus was registered on March 31 in Nur-Sultan," she said.

This was a 50-year-old patient. He was taken to a hospital on March 21, informburo.kz reported.

"His work required frequent trips. He did not seek medical assistance. 31 people, including his family members and colleagues, were hospitalized. 55 potential contact people are under home quarantine. Two family members of the man tested positive for coronavirus," Saule Kisikova stated.

325 Covid-19 cases were so far confirmed in Kazakhstan, 22 patients recovered.
