Forbes names Russia's richest businesman
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaForbes magazine has compiled the rating of 200 richest Russian entrepreneurs, topping the list is head and beneficiary of Norilsk Nickel Vladimir Potanin with a fortune of $19.7 billion (up from the 6th place with $18.1 billion).
The Chairperson of the NLMK Board of Directors Vladimir Lisin, with a fortune of $18.1 billion ($21.3 billion last year) is in second place. In 2018, Lisin was at the number one spot.
Leonid Michelson, the head of Novatek and Sibur shareholder is in the third spot, with a fortune of $17.1 billion (last year he topped the rating with $24 billion).
The fourth and fifth places are occupied by the main owner of Severstal, Alexey Mordashov, and Lukoil president Vagit Alekperov, with fortunes of $16.8 billion ($20.5 billion in 2019) and $5.2 billion ($20.1 billion in 2019) respectively.
Forbes notes that the total wealth of the 200 richest Russians is calculated at $456 billion ($496 billion in 2019).
