Number of Armenia’s confirmed coronavirus cases exceeds 1400

As of 11:00 on April 21, there were 609 recovered COVID-19 patients in Armenia, according to the Armenian National Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

In total, 1,401 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 24 deaths have been reported in the country. This means that there are 62 new cases, compared with yesterday’s report.

According to the center, 13,929 tests for coronavirus have been carried out in Armenia. There are 768 COVID-19 patients in the country’s hospitals now, ARKA reported.

A state of emergency in order to suppress the spread of the coronavirus operates in Armenia from March 16 to April 14. Restrictions on free movement and certain types of economic activity in Armenia in a state of emergency were extended until April 12 inclusive.
